Buying a car...which price guide is the most accurate?

It is an older Acura Integra 3.2 TL

Kelly blue book lists it for Private Party $8,900
Edmonds Private Party price is $4,162.

That is a big difference...I don't know which is accurate.

Finally Gold NADA lists it fro $7,200.

Any thoughts about what I should offer for it?

I used to work for an Auto body and I've also worked for an Auto insurance company. In both cases they used Kelly's Blue Book. I think it's safe to say that it's an industry standard.

My sister is an insurance auto adjuster and her company uses both NADA and Blue Book. She uses Blue Book the most.

Another way to look at it is to check the price for buyer and the price for seller on the same vehicle. You will see a difference there as well. I would suggest taking the average of the two prices.

I like to use Kelly Blue Book. But make sure you read about the condition of the car.If it's a trade in, person to person deal etc.
The area also makes a difference.

How much is the asking price? I would offer about $5500 Because thats sounds about the average. But We only use KBB and NADA. At the bank (at least the one we use), they use NADA I know that but at the my car dealer, we use KBB. I think KBB is better
