I'm not a lady but I think goes both ways. It's because there was no closure, no reason why the guy (or girl) acted the way they did. No explanations or if there was an explanation it was hollow and very passive-aggressive.

Probably b'coz u still have a question that u might not have a chance yet to ask him, or a question about him that u still need an explanation.
So the way to get out of this is go ask him why. No matter how he would reply or what his answer would be, I believe it will help u to get over him. We r human always questioning, n never get satistied until we got it answered. So at least, u r not questioning anymore.

It's simple...The challenge they present or not being good to us or not wanting us. Them not treating us right is kind of something that makes us want them to want us. When the good guy comes along, we rarely give them a second glance.
It's stupid and immature, but that's the way things are.

I think it has to do with their blase attitude. You know, if someone rejects you, you want their approval that much more. It's a mind game that works very well. Unfortunately, I've always been the one being played, not the player. Sigh.

Usually love is involved. You just have to let yourself get to the point of that you maybe love him. But over time you will realize the meaning of "sometimes love isn't enough" and that there are better guys for you out there.
That or........the sex is just THAT GOOD! =)
