Each country has it's own staple food - e.g. China - rice
Mexico - Corn, America - Wheat, Italy - Wheat (Pasta),Ireland - Potatoes.. It is usually a main food that could be grown in abundance and cultivated 100s of years ago, and also a food that was cheap during the depression... being a staple food and it would have been included in alot of traditional recipies and I suppose tradition has stuck.. Some countries have obviously taken on alot of other cultures food but many Asian countries are still very traditional people when it comes to food, arts and values.

Hi!
I had studied their culture. Like i saw, their main resource in their country it's the rice. So, for them the rice is very important and they try to cultivate each year more and more. I remember that in the middle ages , the poor people just ate rice for the year.
Now, rice it's really important for them and for us as well.
Enjoy the rice as much as you can, it's really good.
