If I feel like having a couple brews when I get home, I'm going to with or without other people being there. I wouldn't get plastered or anything alone though, too many things could go wrong and nobody would be there to help.

As long as it's in moderation, like anything, is not a problem. For some, having a cold beer while unwinding after a hard days work is just what they need to help relax. Some even have a glass of wine with dinner, alone or with company shouldn't matter.

Now, drink alone to get drunk frequently (still nothing wrong with every now and again) poses to be a potential problem.

Because sometimes if you are having issues you don't want to be a sobbing mess around a bunch of people, but the alcohol can sooth nerves, or whatever. Some people are just alcoholics as well. I drink alone when I need to be alone, and not be alone with my restless stressed out brain, feel me? proabaly not. But if you were to "feel" me, I used this new caress bodywash, and it is really nice, my skin is all soft, and smooth. Have a nice day, and don't drink alone.

Drinking alone is fine in moderation. I like to enjoy a couple cold beers alone at the end of a tough day. Drinking to get drunk all alone is another story.

A form of relaxing for some but it can also boost ones' self confidence. Many do not like to be seen being alone in a restaurant.

To unwind after a long day. Besides, if I drink alone and manage to get drunk, there will be no one around to get on my nerves.
