What is cheating?
If you are not married then are you bound to a relationship?
I think many people will have problems with these questions.
I think herefore many people willhave more than one romantic partner at one time and not feel that they are cheating on any of their partners.
So, it is possible to see how one could say once a cheater always a cheater.
It is also possible to see how some will say there is no such thing as cheating if you are committed to every relationship.
You have to decide for your self on this question.

People will always surprise me, that's what I love about the human race. Having said that I think there is something that some people simply lack that makes them cheaters. No matter how bad or good a relationship is...they cheat. I think if he cheats on you, he will in fact cheat again. He may not with his next girl for whatever reason, but give that 5 years and I bet you he cheats again.

To me I believe that it depends on the person. Regardless of popular belief I do believe that people can change if they truly want to. It doesn't happen very often but I have seen a few success story's. I new a man who did drugs for almost 20 yrs. He made up his mind to quit one day and he did just that, without any rehab, just him. He is now the directer at a juvenile youth facility. So my answer to you would be no, I do not think once a cheater always a cheater. I do believe people can change.

a cheater doesn't always end up being a cheater, but it would definitely leave a mark on your relationship. and that is a mark that can never be removed. so its better to not cheat than it is to cheat. cuz it is very painful to the other person who has put a lot of time and effort in building a long lasting relationship only to find that it wasn't cherished.

Its hard to say yes or no to your question....I kno that people can change, but its so hard to trust and sometimes staying wit a cheater who has "claimed" they have changed is just as stressful...I just really wish that people would think about there actions before hand...like you said u didn't like it coming back on you....I have had some guys cheat on me and they said that they would change but i couldn't handle it...i feel like they would have still cheated on me if i would have stayed with them...now who knos how they are treating other females...i kno some people like you never want to hurt anybody like that again so they don't cheat ever again, some think its a game and continue hurting people's feelings and emotions....im glad that you changed so i guess you kind of answered the question yourself...you broke the stereotype good for you!!!!

It really depends on how the person is brought up I think. For you, I guess you learned your lesson, but then... you might have this "motivation" to cheat again, because you'll think "oh hey, maybe this time it'll go my way." So, yeah, I think once a person cheats, they will always become a cheater.

No I don't think it's always true but it can be hard for the one cheated on to trust the cheater ever again. And without trust there really is nothing left of the relationship.

To me their are certain reasons people cheat. Some are habitual cheaters.
If you did cheat on someone, their must have been a reason you did.
I would not date someone who said they cheated. It just makes me their next target.
Men who cheat, never seem to change, they are always looking for the next victim, it's a low self esteem issue.
