With global warming becoming a major factor in wheather and natural disasters destroying major cities, this compounded with all the baby boomers retiring I would say no.

In the future all feilds of Engineering will have a shortage workers

My friend is trying to get her degree in civil engineering. She contacted our county to try and get an internship. While she failed at that she did learn that they need people with degrees more than ever. A lot of people start the major but few end up with a degree. Also, you have to go where communities are expanding.

I simply could not hire one for a job in my backyard. They were all too busy, and the money was peanuts compared to the commercial projects available.
