My boyfriend and i were discussing (mostly like "arguing") religion a few days because we practice different christian religons and he told me, "If I was baptized (since hes not) I wouldve already found someone else from my church."
This made me really angry, but is it worth getting mad over? And would it be too extreme if I stoped dating him if he ever became baptized? thanks.

Don't dump him over this. Y would u stop dating him if he got baptized? I thought that was a good thing. Of course ur gonna argue about religion...but it just depends on how importanat it is to both of u to be with someone of the same religion. Atleast he's christian, in this day and age, u can't guarentee that u'll be with one who practices ur same faith. Work it out. If u can't, and ur differences are too important to u both. Then u should call it quits. But TRY to work it out first. It's not worth throwing away a relationship u both love. Because marriage is mostly about arguing and fighting...and if u don't learn to work things out now, when it comes to ur husband, u'll just leave, and then ur kids will be affected.

you both need to understand each others views on god and religion not every one feels the same way about this but then your not fighting about that are you what does it matter who is baptized do you care for this person? do you love this person? those are the questions you should be asking yourself so maybe you both should have another discussion and figure this out as long as you care for each other and respect each other that's what counts not who is baptized or not

well more then likely you guys can talk this out... religion is a very serious thing to talk about in a relationship! so whatever happens make sure you are happy! because that is the main goal right?? well best of luck with you and your boyfriend.... o ya and also try to understand eachother, and not argue.... :o)

I think that you should just sit down and tell him that it was really rude what you said. And tell him that if you wanted to be with someone from you church, that you would be, and that religon doesnt matter to you.

if your boyfriend makes you mad about something thats important to you, he's not worth it and you two are both in the relationship for two different reasons, id dump him
