it's not a bad idea to hang out with new friends but that doesn't mean you stop hanging out with your exsisting friends. It's ok that she has new friend too really.

I think that you should try to repair your relationship with your friend, all the while STILL being friends with your new friend. I think that it would be nice if all four of you became friendly and hung out together both in school and out of school. You may just find out that all of you have alot in common.

Enjoy high school and enjoy meeting new people and having new friends. The sky is the limit.

Have a lovely rest of the evening.

Can't you stay friends with her AND be friend with the new girl? I mean some times people grow apart, and you may not feel the need to hang out as much as you used to, but if the friendship is as strong as you claim it to be, these new friends shouldn't affect your long term relationship too much. And if it does, then maybe you've got everything from the friendship already, and u need to move on...

Have you ever heard the saying "There is power in numbers"? Since you didn't mention your friendship with this girl was over, why not invite her and her friend to hang out with you and your new friend? It could be alot of fun.

I once had basically the same problem. I thought that my best friend finding another friend he really like meant that our friendship was somehow at jeopardy. I knew I couldn't discuss how I felt with my best friend, because it might cause him to think I was trying to tell him who he could and couldn't be friends with. I finally decided to "through caution to the wind", and within a couple of weeks, by best friend ended up becoming a new friend of mine, and in time he too, was one of my best friends. Ironically, my best friend would eventually get and die from Leukemia, and me and the guy who I was afraid of being my best friends friend would be a pal bearer at our friends funeral, and we were a comfort to one another in our loss.
I hope this helps somehow. Be yourself, that is what made your friend like you in the first place. When the "newness" of your friend's new friend wares off, she will not have forgotten you, and you may have new friends.

If you were friends before you went on vacation, she shouldn't snub you when you get back. Maybe she wasn't the friend you thought she was? Talk to her and ask her if she is mad at you. Don't dwell on it though, find new friends.

Why not try to combine the friendships. Who says hanging out has to be one on one.

Hi! I think you like her, don't you? Well, try to talk with her and tell her what you feel about it, tell her that you expect from her the same friendly stuff like before and be nice with her.
Fix your relationship and you have to have desire.
I hope you fix it , If you like to ask me more about it, just contact me.
