This bum was really letting them fly on the bus today and I swear I got a little tipsy....I missed my stop and ended up on the other side of town.

There is such thing as a contact high, where you can feel the effects of being high if you're around someone else who is, its mostly psychological. There's no scientific proof, but ask anyone who's had experience with LSD or mushrooms.
As far as Gas...I seriously doubt it. It's waste, alcohol is processed by the liver and goes through the other pipeline.
It was probably oxygen deprivation from the methane.

Yes you can get high this way. It's called Stoolin'. The next time you and your friends want to Stool, go into the public bathrooms, get some stools out of the toilet, and smoke them in a bowl or bong. Instant fart gas to the brain. @________@
