Yes, please go to your doctor. I have had them too and one in the private parts. I didn't know what it was and naturally I was scared. I had to go to the doctor as an outpatient in his office and have the cyst lanced. He gave me numbing meds, thank goodness. He also stuffed it with gauze to keep infection out. I also had the blood and pus with odor. Please don't wait in seeing the doctor. It has to be taken care of otherwise you will have more problems and the infection will get worse.

You should get this looked at by your doctor. Sometimes cysts need to drained in the office, sometimes they require antibiotics, and some cysts will continue to fill up and come back, and they can be removed. It all depends on the type of cyst and exactly where it is. The doc os the best one to determine that. I would not drain a cyst myself unless a doc has given you an ok. Sometimes you can force infected material into other skin areas, and cause damage or further infection. I would get an appointment and get it looked at.

My friend had this and it was caused by a staph infection. It must be treated with antibiotics or it will continue to reoccur as it is in the bloodstream. It can become toxic and complications can be serious. See a doctor right away. A regular MD/primary care doctor is fine, does not have to be a dermatoligist.

lance them and squeeze them out as much as you can then get a dry medication like oxy extra stength pads or maximum strength.
keep tabs on the cysts they are pretty deep and stubborn creatures.
you better see a dermatologist about this also... cysts may be a prelude to something worse.

You need to go to a doctor with this. Cysts generally have an underlying problem to them, and you may need antibiotics.
