My people have struggled for so long and deserve so much. immigration law protects the interest of the people. let's face it, that the population of the world is rapidly increasing. strict immigration would help the country to protect the resources that it has. the people migrated into the country have to be potential and have to contribute to the country and not as a liability to the government. what may be can do is to have self-control and accept modernized way of preventing the rapid increase of the population. :)
