CHRISTIANITY IS A RECYCLED VERSION OF A MYSTERY CULT OF ROME, AND WAS KNOWN AS CHRISTIANITY AFTER THE PERSECUTION OF THAT CULT, BY EMPEROR NERO. HE IS THE MAIN REASON IT GAINED SUCH MOMENTUM, BECAUSE IT ABSOLUTELY PUT THEM IN THE LIME LIGHT, ALTHOUGH GRUESOMELY. USING THEM AS HUMAN LIGHT TORCHES AT DINNER PARTIES AND FOOD FOR THE ANIMALS OF THE COLISEUM. THE STORY OF THE LIFE OF JESUS HAS GONE THROUGH BOTH GREEK AND ROMAN EPOCHS AS MYSTERY CULTS AND EMERGING AS CHRISTIANITY.

They did not differ at all. Why do you think that they were arrested back then. They call it persecuted, but back then they were just criminals. Now it's so accepted they even changed the fact of separation of state in the US. Most of the fore fathers of this country were not even Christian.
