I am a Muslim.
It doesn't make sense to say that Jesus is the most popular prophet on the basis of recognition alone, because he is recognized by Christianity and Islam, when you could go back to earlier prophets like Moses, Abraham, or Noah who are recognized by these two religions and also by Judaism.

If you believe that Jesus was the son of god, then he is no longer a prophet, for people who believe Budda as God then Budda is longer a prophet and this goes for Mohamed. So if you take the people who belive that the above where gods, and remove them then the most popular proposed phophet would be Nostradumeus or the dog in the son of sam's backyard.

Jesus ...of course....because He is not only a prophet but also the Messiah, Son of God....and Savior of the world....as Scripture has said.
Born of a Virgin..... crucified under Pilate...risen from the dead on the third day...ascended into heaven...and He is seated at the right hand of God...from whence He shall come again to rule in power and glory! ..and to judge the living and the dead.
