That would depend upon why he was asking for more money. Would need to know the facts.
If it was for a rental car while his was being repaired and my insurance didn't cover that, I'd pay his rental bill a long as it was reasonable.
If the car was a write-off and he though the settlement was too low, I'd offer to help him justify a higher payout from my insurance company.
If he just wanted more money out of greed, I'd have to say no.

don't associate with hem. If what the insurance paid them doesn't make them happy, they have to sue you, and it sounds like they would.
