I would really like a merl or a harlequin and don't want to pay $1000.00 for it. I just want a pet and companion.

Try a great Dane rescue. By the way of all the dog breeds Great Danes have the shortest life expectancy only 7 to 9 years.

first what area are you in, what do you want to pay for it and will you pay for travel expenses or pick up the dog yourself?? i can find one for you i am a veterinarian technician and also have a farm with many many different types of animals. i know a lot of the breeders because a lot of my mommies and daddies want or are looking for certain pets and want my advice or for me to look at the animals before they make a purchase or adoption.

check with your local humane society they often get pure bred dogs, if they don't have one right now they should take your name and number then call when one comes in. it worked for me!
