Absolutely not - but your family needs you too. There has to be a good compromise, don't you think? Some way where you can get the alone time you need (I need it too) and still be the great parent you want to be, right?

Let alone being a good spouse. Your wife is working round the clock to take care of your kids (which can be exhausting) and she is likely to need some alone time too.

Peace!

It is not wrong to take time for yourself this is why men have a shed so they can have a little time out or some play sport etc..
It is normal.
You work 6 days a week good on you ,you appear to be a wonderful provider for your family it is refreshing to see .
Can you maybe spend a little quality time with wife and children maybe go to Mac Donalds and have breakfast together start your day with them .
I know the work load of bringing up a family can be hectic at times as everyone wants a piece of you.
Your one person going in a million different directions.
It doesn't last foever before you know it kids are grown and you will have more time .
This is why we have the Sunset years.
A little gem to close off.
Life that shall send a challenge to it's end,
And when it comes say welcome my friend. Long Fellow.
Take care!

No it's not, but are u also spending time with them, As long as u don't come home and dempaned stuff, say i just worked all day u do it, take off every time u have a day off, yell at kids or spouse cause ur impaitent, if u do any of these things, ur an asshole, But if u come home, help around the house, maybe if it's just taking the trash out or helping with dinner, giving kids a bath, reading to the kids, check home work, hiring a babysitter at least once a month so u and ur spouse can go out, if u do any of these 15 times a month then ur a good guy and take once every 3 months and have a guys night, as long as ur spouse has their night also.

Time for yourself is very important. However, just working to support your family is not enough. Your family needs your time with them, too. I know it is hard when you work so much, but you do need to find a way to allow some "me time" without sacrificing family time also.

First, it is ok to want time alone as long as you are fulfilling obligations at home. Such as making sure your significant other, if there is one, has a break, your kids have a chance to be with you. An hour or two is great to be you but your family also needs your prescence and support.

yea and no. if you spend all that time away girls think your off having fun or something so you have to spend time with them. but i think that if you started doing something like jogging you would get that and if they come along too its not such a big deal as most people listen to music or just concentrate on nothing while they jog. but yeah take an hour here and there but make it count so that your need for solitude everyonce in a while does not drive away your wife.

You can have time to yourself as long as you are also making time to spend with your family. Your family needs time with you too... and your wife may also need time to herself if she works outside the home and then comes home to take care of the house, kids and you too.

No it isn't but you must remember you also need to spend equal time with you family. If you work 6days a week how often do you spend time with them, verse spending time alone. Family comes first.
