anyone can tell me what is a divx disc ? can i watch it on DVD player or PC ?

Only some DVD players will play them.

DivX is a format that was marketed by Circuit City a long time ago. When it wasn't taking off like expected, the technology became a public format widely marketed on the internet. As a result, DVD players never really caught on to be able to play that format. Instead, PC's became the player.

its a video format
plays on computer,sumtimes u need to install divx codecs but.
only plays on dvd\divx players.

thing is u can burn divx on cd and play in player.
