If they are going to be here in America legally ...they need to pay their share to Uncle Sam ...If not ...jail time and a fine just like us...to the illegal ...jail.. deport and fines..We all have rules we have to go by here in the US. It should be enforced equally

If you're here legally - No it's not true, I'm here from the UK and I am subject to all the same taxes as everyone else. In fact I also get taxed back in the UK so I'm paying a bit more.

Think about it, for all intensive purposes they do not exist here. They are unregistered workers, they have no documentation, such as a birth certificate that says they were born here, or a social security card, (by which the government tracks us), or even a drivers license. So no they do not pay taxes, they also get free medical, because when they get sick or injured they give fake names and addresses, so they don't pay the bills.
I was very impressed today! On the news they did a segment on INS rounding up a bunch of illegals at a job site today! They were cleaning up a stadium.
But.......now they will be put in jail that our taxes will be used to take care of them!!!

Yes because employers are not paying the taxes. Why hire an American for $10 and have to pay $3 to the government when you can hire an illegal for $5 and save $5 for yourself.
This is why we have to have higher penalties including jail time for those that hire illegals.

the person who asked the question and the first person answering the quesation,,,you two are both morons ..
First: the term 'immigrant' is anyone and everyone who was not a U.S. citizen at birth and has come to the U.S. to live. There are legal immigrants and illegal immigrants. All immigrants working in this country pay taxes..that's if it's not an under the table job
Illegal immigrants usually end up working under the table..hence they don't pay taxes...
clear as mud ??!!!

They not only are tax free, but they get all sorts of freebies that local people have to practically beg for (food stamps, medical treatment, etc.).
However, recently, I believe the government has offered immigrants the option of paying taxes or leaving....this happened earlier this summer I believe. For immigrants who have been in the states longer than 7 years, they now have to pay taxes.

Yes, it is true. Undocumented illegal immigrants. are under the table employees. Illegal immigrants do have more rights, than USA citizens. Such as: free education, free medical, hospitalization and prescriptions, free food, free transportation and if very lucky free rent (possibly in a one family house).
Isn't it amazing where tax dollars go?

That is what I've been saying all along. Thank you for standing up and asking the obvious to the ones that need a wake-up call.

No legal ones pay income taxes and social security (which they will NOT have access to). So they do pay taxes and help increase our social security pensions.
