When we read 'follow your heart', is understood as failing in love.

To use heart as barometer for love, is not wise. Feelings changes often. It is not guaranteed. As 'following the thoughts'- day dreaming, thinking so much of someone, something? This is dangerous, we can be forgetful

Emotions do not have an IQ. Unfortunately, going with your feelings usually doesn't make sense. Use logic, it is never wrong. It does hurt, but the strong will survive and be happy. The weak will feel momentary bliss and then a lifetime of suffering.

I think it's important to follow your heart but at the same time you need to listen to that little voice in your head. Sometimes we tend to follow our heart and ignore common sense, that leads to trouble.

I don't know what your thoughts are? I would just live in the moment and not stress about the future, what ever your heart is saying know that's true thoughts are the devil and the angel
