please people I need your help its for a project, need three attractions or famous places in honolulu, hawaii...

Pearl Harbor, it is free but well worth seeing. Be sure to take the free Navy tour over to the Arizona Memorial
Polynesian Cultural Center. Not free but the best buy on the Island of Oahu and the State. Most popular paid visitor attraction in Hawaii.
I suggest this because it is really worth it. You ask for things in Honolulu, most people on mainland do not realize the whole Island of Oahu is in Honolulu county. Even Waikiki is Honolulu, just take a look at the only Post Office in what is call Waikiki.
Of course Waikiki " which can mean so many things. The list of things to see or do is almost endless. (consider a hike, walk up to the top of Diamond Head.)

1.) Chinatown... Its awesome. Good food, mostly friendly people as long as you don't put off a rude or "holier than thou" vibe (in response to that other person's rant about how Hawaii is a racist state)
2.) Diamond Head... Hike it and look over the whole city and even part of the windward side! So beautiful
3.) Pearl Harbor... it's free and very moving. I cried when I saw the USS Arizona and knew all the servicemen were forever entombed there on that fateful day.
If you're not limited to just the island of Oahu, the best thing I experienced in Hawaii was the Mauna Kea volcanoe on the big island of Hawaii. We got there at sunset, trekked out a mile or more and saw real hot lava coming out of cracks in the ground! Truly amazing sight to see.

To answer the question...
I've been here for about 10 years and I'm still attracted to Waikiki. Ala Moana shopping center and the Aloha Stadium swap meet are great attractions.
If you gave more information about yourself, you would get a better answer. What do you like to do?

Iolani Palace, is pretty--it was a real palace.
Walk the streets--in the mall district by the beach there are guys who dress up, they paint their clothes and stand around, people take pictures of them.
The coral reef--one of the few places you can see a coral reef and the animals living there who are not afraid of humans.
Also, try the cocoanut pudding they have there. It's great!

relic how can u say that about hawaii if u had some bad times don't blame it on the hawaiians day neva do nothing wrong come on now would'nt u be mad if someone tried to take your house away ya thats how the hawaiians feel about their islands.
