I don't get all huffy about it. I just think maybe they didn't realize, don't have manners, don't feel well, or not all there for some reason. I just try to make the best of my time while I am waiting and not worry about it. You can take the time to think about something else or pray.

If they are definitely being rude, I might say something and try to be polite but firm about their action. Maybe they will reconsider and maybe they won't. At least you tried and they have been made aware that you care about not being treated like that. Maybe they'll think twice the next time.

I think it depends on the situation- Sometimes I think that people are embarassed enough without me making fun of them. But then other times I can't help it. I was once in a meeting where the guy behind the desk ripped one out and I said, "bless you". Another time I said, "Whooo! Good one! Check this one out-" then I attempted to squeeze one out.. but I ended up sharting instead of farting.

But I enjoy farting in the supermarket line or at the bank when the people behind me start crowding me.

I used to, but people start getting to pushy and I don't have patience for that anymore, unless they are elderly of course. I now speak up, nothing rude or confrontational, just excuse me the line is back there. Check out is not as nearly as bad as the Deli counter though.

I think I'd ignore it unless I was in a bad mood. I don't think it makes a lot of sense to get into an altercation in the check out line.

I'd probably say something to them about it.

Honestly can't say its ever happened.

You might need to clarify. It kind of sounds like you are asking if someone farts in front of you, but then again it sounds like you are asking if someone cuts infront of you in the line. What exactly do you mean? If someone cuts line, I say something. If someone farts, I laugh and point. No just kidding, I probably would just lean my head to get fresh air.

What's the hurry? It's a few extra minutes. That's all.

When you get a chance, read Mike Stratka's Grrr column on foxnews.com. It's about people he calls oblivions who do this type of stuff and make you go Grrrr.

No. In fact if they do excuse themselves I make a big deal out of it. I will say in a load voice,'What is that smell?" I've even asked a clerk to get air fresher. It's rude I know. It's also rude to "cut one" in front of you.

Yeah, I ignore it because I give them the benefit of the doubt that they were somehow actually before me and was just grabbing something near by and coming back.

It's nice to give people the benefit of the doubt.

You can't ignore it . I mostly say something appropriate in a loud tone of voice and everyone stares. I can speak very loud. Oh and I can belch louder than a mountain lion . uhhuh

some lady actually cut one once and then said excuse me...i would never admit to having cut one if i was embarrased by that, so that lady kind of surprised me
