life is not beautiful...if and only if one finds no beauty in life. To love to laugh to dance to scream to be who you are , is that what is beautiful? To watch to learn to see to educate , is that beautiful?

sunsets, mountains, flowers, birds, lakes, rivers, oceans, ships, cars , is that what is beautiful? expression, desire, emotion, knowledge, thought, being , is that what is beautiful?

All things come for a price, everything is seeped in mercantilism and barter one way or another. If you can not accept the bad with the good, then no it will never be beautiful. If...on the other hand... you understand how to play the game then they will being the ones owning all the monopoly money by the time everyone's made it around the board once, passed go and collected their 200 dollars.

If you were playing monopoly, would you despair that you really were the thimble? So I ask you, why are you being the thimble?

Life is not beautiful? Do you mean it is not in your eyes, or not for someone else? If life is not beautiful then it needs to change or consider the alternatives. I have days when 98% of it "sucks" but that still leaves 2% of something good that I am thank full I was there for.

Have you ever considered that what you "put out there" is just the thing that will come back to you? Life IS beautiful. It's beautiful for me because I perceive it as such. Consequently only wonder-full and beautiful things come back to me.

You must see "La Vita è Bella," (Life is Beautiful) the wonderful film by Roberto Benigni that won Best Foreign film at the 1997 Academy Awards. If you can find beauty inside a German concentration camp, you can find beauty anywhere.

Life IS beautiful, no doubt about it!

Y'all might flame me for this one, but it's been so much more beautiful and meaningful since I deconverted!

For one thing, if you think God created you then there's no reason to wonder about our existence. Be respectful, yes, since it's a complex system, but if it's all planned it really takes some of the wonder out of it!

For another, if you exist because God created you, your only value is what you get from him. And in the end, you only exist to value him back. So you really don't have value - God does!

Last, if God is in control, then anydifference I can make will be minor. I mean, God may let little mistakes and problems go, but he's watching out for the big picture to make sure things all come out according to his plan. So really I can't have any impact except how God would want me to have impact, so we're back to God being important and we're not.

Life is rare, life is precarious, life is dependent on other life, life is fragile. All this tells me we need to nurture it, love each other and come out of our own needs and desires so we can take care of each other and the world we are in. It tells me life is beautiful.

Why is life not beautiful? What's wrong? If you just want someone to talk to I will listen. I will not judge. Sometimes it's easier to talk to a complete stranger than a best friend. I'm here. You can e-mail me if you like. I hope things get better for you regardless. Smile, life will get beautiful for you again.

Your right.
But I would add one word to your statement.

Sometimes life is not beautiful.

No one, not even the God of the Bible, promised it was going to be easy. Some days it is pure hell and some days it is okay.
Only once in a blue moon is it truly beautiful.
When:
The moment my children were born.
The moment my grandchildren were born.
The moment my grandchildren laughed.
Sitting alone on the porch with the sun just coming up and doing it by myself while everyone else was still asleep.
Holding your daughter after a serious operation and knowing that she was going to be alright.
Seeing your husband go through a quad bypass and live, diverticulitis that nearly killed him, a double bypass that went bad one month later and nearly killed him with the first heart attack, the second heart attack that almost did him in but the doctor tried once more to put a stint into the heart and it worked, going through total knee replacement and developing a plumunary embolism in three places on his lungs and having to be heavly sedated for 2 weeks on a respirator, and after waking up seeing him regain his mental abilities when the sedation medicine finally got out of his body and he knew who I was and that I loved him.
Yes life is beautiful sometimes but sometimes it is not and when it is not that is when you have to pull yourself up and tell yourself that you will not let **** get you down so far that you can't get back up.
Keep fighting and don't give in to the problems because you can beat them if you just give it a try.

Life is an adventure. It is infinitely beautiful. When things go wrong and you have challenges it can be even more beautiful - it makes you feel alive, vibrant. Life is for living, rejoice in it and savor every moment of it, it is the greatest gift we can ever have.

Life is beautiful, just go someplace natural. Look at everything, look at the smallest flower or the grandest tree, and realize that there is beauty in the world. When you imerse yourself in nature, then do you realize the good in the world.

"If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly, our whole life would change"
