pregnency test yet +ve after D&C surg. why?

Question

did D&C 2 days ago under GA.
with small amount of bleeding.. and yet after 2days, the urine pregnancy test is still +ve..

why?

please help..

The pregnancy test will be positive until all the hormones from the pregnancy are out of your system. They should have told you this at the clinic, and should have given you a sheet of after-care instructions. If they didn't, call the clinic and ask any questions you have.

The positive pregnancy test is not unusual, and you shouldn't be worried.
