Never had Brewsters, so can't judge. Cold Stone is ok at best compared to Ben & Jerry's. Having grown up in VT and seeing the factory, I vote Ben & Jerry hands down. They were bought out a few years ago by Unilever Foodservice, which also owns Haagen Daas, but the quality is still there from when they were Independent.
Half Baked or Phish Food are 2 of their best!!!!!

Definitely Cold Stone!!
I had extremely bad morning sickness with my first child. The first "real" food that I was able to eat and keep down was a Cold Stone treat. I loved it!

Graeters, available in Cincinnati Ohio, and shipped elsewhere. My all time favorite non-graeters flavor is Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey!..Wish I had some right now! mmmm

Cold Stone is awesome! I used to work at one. The thing that makes it so good is that you can sort of make up your own flavor.
