Okay, I was dating this cop for about 6 months. The way that me and him got together is I asked him to investigate my ex boyfriends death, who had died of a gunshot wound to the head about 2 years prior, anyhow, he said he did. I found this particular cop extremely attractive, so we ended up dating. He lied to me. He had another girl living with him the whole time we were dating, why would he do this? Is it possible that he was thinking about leaving her to be with me? Why when I confronted him about it outright, did he continue to lye. Then his girlfriend showed up at my work, why would he play with my emotions like that. After I found out for sure it was true, he just quit talking to me, wouldn't even answer my phone calls or anything, why would somebody do something like that to somebody else? I am an extremely attractive female, I do not lye, and I always treated him very good.

He was a dog, pure and simple. There are plenty of them around. They think that a penis entitles them to act that way. Has nothing to do with being a cop. The come in all sizes and shapes and jobs.

He had no intention of leaving his live-in. He was just getting some strange.

Now you know why he would never bring you over to his place. Remember the lesson, it will serve you well.

Not all guys are dogs. The real men aren't, though many of the boys are.

I don't know why you need cops to specifically answer this question, but you are in luck...I am a cop. Cops are just like everyone else...espeically when it comes to sex. I am a female officer and I don't date other officers because they are no good. They will be married or have a woman at home and have a woman they work with who they are sleeping with...sometimes more than one and then of course, they will have women that they met out on the streets while working...
Sorry to tell you honey, but he had no intentions of leaving his girlfriend for you. He just wanted to be able to sleep with you on the side and that's it. He's a dog. Men do it all the time. It's not just about him being a cop.

Well, my story is the same, but different. My cop was married! It's a common trait...they work in the fast lane and live in it, too. Can't be trusted. I'm sure there's some out there who are okay, I just haven't met one yet. Six months of dating AND...didn't you have his home phone number? Didn't you ever ask him to take you home with him? How come you didn't think smart yourself? Didn't you see the red flags when he told you that no, you couldn't have his home phone number, and no, you couldn't go to the place where he lived? You needed to ask more questions, dear, I hope you learned from this experience...next time, ASK!

Some of the cops are neither honest nor faithful. I had a coworker who told me she was married to a cop for 5 years and she had found out he had a girlfriend too, they did divorce. It’s very common for some of them to do that, its might be also questions of power and control?

The fact that he’s a cop doesn’t necessary make him a sincere person.

Another reason: he’s a liar and a pig!

A lying pig!

It has nothing to fo with him being a cop. Some people are just like that. He wanted to have his cake and eat it too. Cheats come in all professions.

First of all your relationship was illegal it's called a conflict of interest. If he was found to be in that situation with you he could be repremanded, or worse. He was looking out for his best interest, he probally was not doing that to hurt you. You should be glad that things didn't progress any further. Just move on with your life, before you come up missing.

It sounds like he is a nob. They're in every profession. Just because he is a cop doesn't mean he has his personal sh!t together.
