I'm with you, i verbalize myself if a different way though... but historically speaking... original settlers left England from religion persecution but not because they were running from Christianity. They we're just a different denomination that couldn't worship freely.
That's what THIS country is suppose to be based on. A place were all people could come and live with others with religious freedom. We're also suppose to respect others.
I for one, am not religious, but a free thinker... But I don't believe in pushing others to give up their beliefs becuase MOST would tell me to. I am all for this country becoming less religious in alot of way especially politically. But it has to be done respectfully.
If you can't respect othes for how they think and feel regardless whether you have the same belief system, then how the hell can you expect them to listen openly and honestly, and atlest think about thats being said.

Hmm....can we say "rant"?
But I don't entirely disagree. The Bible has been much touted by Christian enthusists over the centuries as the foundation for their faith. Yet, time and time again, that "foundation" which endorses "brotherly love" on one level and "an eye for an eye" on another level has too often been used as the foundation for openly declaring war on our brothers and sisters. Hence the massive rifts that have formed over that ages.
Religion as a whole concept, in my opinion, is a good idea. Children need a foundation in some form of belief in order to have something to expand from in their lives. However, religion as a reality is an uncompromising mire of dogma and bias that hopelessly mires so much of population in confusion and intolerance.
Above all else, when read from cover to cover, the one consistant concept expressed in the Bible is Free-Will. Guess that means you are free to believe whatever you like. Yes?

God Is the God of the entire universe including North America, which you place all your faith in.
And I'm so sorry to burst your ego, but, you know far less than you even think!! It was St. Peter--not St. John--who denied the Lord 3 times. However, St. Peter repented(as did all the rest of the Apostles except for Judas Iscariot), & came back to the Lord. After the Day of Pentecost, St. Peter was no longer afraid to defend his faith in Christ & was later Martyred for his faith in Him.

Read the bible to justify your question, it was not John who denied Jesus for three times it was Peter who denied. God created Adam in His own image to keep fellowship with him but Adam disobayed and sinned and made the seperation between man and God but Jesus came to the rescue of Mankind and build the same relations that was there between God and man and to provide salvation and eternal life. Just think ..was it possible for you to think about your self the way you are thinking when you were in your mothers womb. God had taken care of you there and build you into a strong man today. Follow Jesus and have a miracle in your life , your thinking will change.

That scrawny lil fairy called jesus you say, died so that you may have a chance to live with your father God.
If your big enough try to make it to heaven without him.

HEY,HE IS A LITTLE LATE IT SEEMS.
HIS BOOK IS TOO CONFUSED TO READ ,I KNOW....I USED TO BE HUMAN.
PETERS DENIAL OF JESUS WAS TOLD TO EXPLAIN A HUMANS ABANDONMENT OF ANOTHER HUMAN,TO EXPLAIN OUR ABANDONMENT OF FAITH IN A GOD AND THE THIRD DENIAL WAS REPRESENTORY OF THESE THINGS HAPPENING MULTIPLE TIMES IN A LIFETIME.
THE CREATOR,WHEN CREATING US KNEW WE WOULD DENY HIM AS YOU SO PROUDLY DO.
HE CREATED US TO ENJOY LIFE AND LIVE FREE HERE,NOT TO BOW DOWN TO RULES.
I JUST DON'T WANT YOU TO S*HIT YOUR PANTS IN THE END WHEN THE REAPER YOU'VE HEARD TALES ABOUT ISN'T DEATH,BUT A LIFE-BRINGER.
I SUGGEST IF YOU ENJOY YOUR FREEDOM AND GOD-GIVEN FREEWILL SO MUCH THAT YOU FIND SOMETHING OF YOUR OWN TO BELIEVE IN.
AN INTELLIGENT CREATOR IS REAL.THINK.
DROP THE HATE BECAUSE ON YOUR DEATH BED YOU'LL BE WISHING YOU HAD KNOWN HIM.
GOD IS LATE BECAUSE HE'S WEEDING ALL THE WEAK ONES FROM HIS GARDEN.AND WE HAVE NOW ON EARTH EVERYTHING WE NEED NOW DON'T WE.
WE ARE SPOILED LITTLE BRATS.
EXCEPT IT.....
LIFE IS A CREATED GIFT FOR YOU.
SO KISS MY BEAUTIFUL A*SS
SEE YOU ON THE FLIPSIDE......BUT THEY ONLY ALLOW INTELLIGENT CREATURES TO HAVE THEIR FREEDOM THERE.YIKES.
THINK.

America is a great country from what I always here the whites say because it was built on the blood sweat and tears of the blacks and other people of different races and this is what you all have done to us then you take land from the Indian and call it your! NOT AT ALL! and dig this for those who aren't here don't know for real that the struggle still exist!
but allow this Muslim sister to tell you this i am Islamic and don't believe in the New testament at all it is all you claim it to be so here we do agree but all of this America stuff hay freedom is new to the African here so yea we are tired! no other country came here and demanded us to be free that i know of! so America has lots of issues facing them and there biggest problem is how they stole the country kidnapped and forced workers, killed raped and took everything from us!
and wants loyalty how you figure you ain't saying nothing and America is like a dope fine whore who is never satisfied but you know what usually she ends up dead from an over dose of self gratification!
HUH! ..... now what!
and i am an black/Indian so you have got over on my folks twice and what is your response to that you see here what America is missing out on we still hurt from this miss treatment and y'all go somewhere else and tell them how to live eat breath and sleep
now this is another problem to face!

Buddha is no god, he was a wise man. Buddha is dead and gone, what makes you think he is coming back? You obviously do not understand my religion, so do not insult it.
