hexador04: "go home and fix their country". Isn't this a bit hypocritical, considering the U.S. has had troops in other countries for such a long time. Shouldn't we go home and fix our country?

Also, how come this was not an issue until recently? No one, had a problem when Mexicans came here illegally and fixed roads, highways, buildings, etc. in the cities (ie. fixing our country). Supposedly, they were "stealing U.S. jobs". However, how many U.S. citizens do you know that are willing to work a tough job, in 100+ degree weather, 6 to 7 days a week, do a good job and not complain? I mean honestly, do you believe there would be enough to build highways, buildings, etc.? Wouldn't they require more money than the "illegals" for this same job? Where would this extra money come from? MORE TAXES?! YOUR POCKETS?!

The U.S. is just full of a bunch of whinny people who complain about everything. If there were no illegals in the U.S., all of you would be complaining about how expensive everything is, and how it would be so much cheaper to have "some Mexicans" do the job.

Well, don't you all know by now it is all about money? I worked in software, until I saw more and more work being sent to other countries who would design software cheaper? No one had a problem with these companies sending AMERICAN JOBS to India, China, etc. The U.S. government didn't stop companies from do this and save AMERICAN JOBS. Why? Because all of you people out there want cheaper product regardless of where it comes from or who makes it.

So, why is it acceptable to save the jobs of uneducated people earning minimum wage (the jobs that the "Mexicans" would "steal") but we could not save the jobs of professionals who worked hard in college to earn a degree? I guess people just hate "Mexicans" even though they have done more for us than India, China, or anyone else who "stole" our higher paying jobs.

Are they going to give me citizenship too? Not according to THEIR laws, but I guess they get to treat THEIR neighbors differently than WE do?

THEY get much more out of the arrangement with the amount sent back to Mexico than we EVER will.

EDIT: (and Dallash2 - in CA we have been trying to do something about it for YEARS! we've tried propositions and other laws so Don't even TRY to say this is new. While the national interest in it may be (and it's nice for others to finally get it's a problem) CA has known it is one for YEARS!!!!! You are also ignoring the major attempt to do something about it under Reagan's presidency? but that was only around 20 years ago - so I guess THAT is still a new phenomenon too?)

Hmm. No Mexico is not my economic partner.
I guess you call yourself being sarcastic. Unfortunately, we are all human beings trying to make a living. With the exception, I am educated and I do have finesse.
Years ago in Texas, I had the opportunity to associate myself with Mexicans. Yes, we did embrace as family! Still to this day, I cherish the moment.
Now that it is the 21st Century-what happened? The demand for citizenship, is incomprehensible and the attitude, has got to go! Ask your grandparents what the 1950's and 1960's were like in the USA.

None that i'll imagine of. the surely actual objections are in accordance with some moralistic theory that suggests sex for money is someway "incorrect." Its a tricky to take care of position - the significant anti-prostitution arguments relate to the hazards and health disadvantages sex workers face. If it were criminal, regulated and managed those might want to all bypass away. Plus, imagine of the tax earnings... Legalised prostitution, besides the undeniable fact that, isn't a logical extension of "professional-determination." EDITS: some more desirable comments in accordance with what others have written. a million - disease: convinced there remains a threat of this, yet "specialist" prostitutes are at a decrease threat than streetwalkers (prostitutes appearing) or the enthusiastic novice. convinced some customers will pay more desirable to no longer use condoms, yet more desirable women persons may have drunken one-nighttime stands with strangers and use no threat-free practices. seem at Amsterdam's red gentle district - there is little or no contained in the way of STI between the approved sex workers and customers hardly ever (if ever) get to bypass bareback. 2 - Feminism / objectification of ladies persons: a wierd argument which isnt truly valid to deny women persons the right to provide sex in go back for money. The question is about legalised and licenced sex workers. Do feminists imagine that women persons must be restricted contained in the options they can make over their employment? Is it incorrect for a fantastically female with out practise or skills to make money by having sex? might want to she be forced to be a minimum salary incomes waitress because it would want to be hostile to the feminist reason for adult men to pay her various money? the surely objection hostile to prostitution is depending on the non secular point of view that having sex outdoors marriage is largely incorrect. This taints the sex worker with a stigma which will make it not straightforward for them to ever do something else. Being a sex worker is not any worse than the different job once you comprehend that having sex isn't something particular. tens of millions of ladies do it for loose each nighttime. Why cant a number of them receives a fee?

So if my neighbor is a criminal -I should accept them?
Being neighbors is not a good reason to accept people. A pervert could be your neighbor.

And Mexico so far has not been a good neighbor or has acted in our interest as well as their own.

We depend on Canada too and they are not coming over the border in droves sucking our resources dry like a bunch of locust. Great, Mexico is our neighbor, so what? When are they going to start acting like the good neighbor for once?

Neighbors??? Yes. A neighbor is someone who lives NEXT DOOR (or in this case next country) STAYS in his OWN yard UNLESS he is INVITED over!!!!!

But Family....NO!!!!!!! A family member has EVERY RIGHT to be there, because they BELONG there!!!!!!

With "friends" like MEXICO we do NOT need any ENEMYS!!!!!! They're like the hillbilly relatives (no offense) that come and sponge off the relatives that live in Beverly Hills!!!!
