Having lived in a few different counties and working for pizza joints here in the US. I would have to say that since all pizza, unless specialy asked for it to not be on there has cheese, so the favorite TOPPING is pepperoni. Every place serves pepperonni and we always sold more pepperoni than any other topping, almost most of them by themselves combined.

My fave pizza shop does a pizza called the russian, Its got acres of bacon cheese and fried potatoes on it.... Oh Yummo

Cheese to me is not a topping but an essential so in order of preference - big juicy mushrooms, canadian bacon and red onions. Oh, I like to sprinkle mine with parmesan and garlic powder.

the taste can onl be achieved by adding all of the abovementioned ingredients and then fusing them together in mozzerella smothered, plain tomato sauce covered pizze dough
