I believe this gift is there for all to use, it works either way, as long as the one saying the prayer, or the one receiving has faith, it could be either one or both. I like to try it somemore, I've seen miracles happen through Jesus Christ.

I believe you are right. One thing I noticed is I used to often forget what I prayed about, but all of my prayers were either answered, or not answered for a reason that usually reveals itself. Try writing down all the things you pray about, it sounds corny, but look back at that journal in a few months or a year, and see- you will probably realize that we are all more blessed than we think. :) God Bless!

You might be interested to know that there have been scientific experiments conducted with prayer. Some of these experiments have documented a link between prayer and healing. A few recent studies question the results, so the question has not yet been fully resolved. (Others question whether prayer can be studied scientifically or even ethically.)

No doubt about it... Yes I have!!! :) And that's right people don't heal, God does through us (Christians, little Christ's) by the Power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus' name. Do not get that confuse with the anti-Christ, those are people and a primary person who are totally against Christ, God and everything the Bible says. And yes what I'm talking abouy is people getting healed by the laying on of hands asking God to heal them through us.

Yes I have I laid hands on my greatneice ,she was in a coma for about 3min. everyone in the house was crying a laid my hands on her forehead and begin praying to the Lord. He answered my prayers and healed her and she woke up I will never forget. She was about 7yrsold. then she is about 17 now. No one in the house understood what had just happened and I did not say another word because people who don't believe do not want to admit that they just wittnesed a miracle from God. Thank you Jesus!

Ah yes. Just recently there was a 3 year old with Cancer.
Our church members prayed and prayed for her. She is
now cancer-free. God answers prayers. You can hear
people's testimony on having been healed almost every day
on the "700 Club" on tv. (if you really want to hear it).
Miracles happen every day, but if you're not in "tune", maybe
you just don't see them happen.

Yes. It is so amazing. When you can have before & after X-Rays you can really amaze your doctor. But not all receive the gift of healing. Same with prophesy, tongues, leadership, etc. See 1st Corinthians 12.

Note:
There is general prayer...
Matthew 18:20
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

And Gifts...
1 Corinthians 12:9
to another faith, in the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, in the one Spirit;

Maybe healing is Gods gift to you.

Yes. My best friend was dying of a degenerative kidney disease. He was told he wouldn't see his child's 4th birthday. Yes, he was told this by a doctor! His kidneys were shutting down and there was nothing they could do for him, short of a transplant. And there was no transplant available....

A bunch of people started praying for him. This went on for weeks, in many different churches, many different fellowships. At the last meeting, he had a fever. After the minister prayed over him, the fever broke. After that meeting, my friend went back to the doctor.

The kidney disease was gone. His kidneys were completely clear. He still has the paper with the doctor's findings of "no sign of kidney disease at this time" on it.

This was almost 20 years ago. They now have 4 children .

Its the faith you have in what you pray for, knowing with out a doubt, that the Lord will do as you ask of Him, provided that you acknowledge that it must be God's will and not yours that brings us the result of healing. The healing can take place in our world, or it can take place in the next world. God decides which world.

My grandmother in law has prayed for my carpel tunnel, all the pain is gone! Read 90 minutes in heaven the Don Piper story. Prayer brought him back to life.

Through my faith in Jesus Christ and by His authority I witnessed such events through the laying on of hands.
