There's this guy I've known since like 3rd grade and we've always picked on each other and teased each other but I started liking him like a year ago and like a month ago I told one of my friends and she told him and he hasn't said he likes me but he's been teasing/flirting with me a lot more, but like a week ago at youth group one of my friends was like you guys should go out but he's like no and my friends started teasing me about how I liked him so much in front of him and he was like guys don't embarass her and then he sat by me during youth group. I don't know what to think,oh by the way I'm in 8th and he's a freshman but we're only like a year apart.

does he look at you a lot? Guys do that when they like you - they normally try to be subtle but you can always feel them staring at you! Also, they do tease and all that, it's their way of being affectionate I think!
But even if he likes you (I think it sounds like he does) he may not want anything to happen cos he wants to keep you as a mate, or he's not ready for a girlfriend....There is no way of knowing, boys are v strange.
Perhaps just continue to be friends with him, but if you can, flirt a bit with someone else - there is nothing like a bit of jealousy to make a boy realise he likes you! (I know it's hard to flirt when you're shy but even chatting to another guy could help)

1. He dosent want you to talk to any other boy but him... for example if you ask another boy sa question he will say the answer 2. He always asks you if you like anyone 3. He sits next to you in class 4. He smiles at you all the time when you look at him 5. If its boy + girl partners he will always want to go with you
