Or is he going to be angry at us with all kind of mean faces he can make. Just curious.

Who told you that God was "really nice"? The Bible? If you don't believe in the Bible, or you think that it is full of mistakes, then maybe God is really mean, not nice. How would you know otherwise?

Besides, if you didn't like God, then why would God want you laying around his place, watching his TV, drinking his brew, touching his stuff, etc.? Wouldn't you kick the mooching bum out on his rear end if you were God and Heaven was your place?

The same Bible that says that God is nice also says that God casts unbelievers from his presence into eternal darkness for their ingratitude. How do you know which parts of the Bible to believe, and which parts to disbelieve? Is there a logical formula for deciding how to pick and choose?

I kind of recall "Our God is a vengeful God!"

I never heard God was nice, I have heard "He has a bigger plan"

Everybody percieves God there own way , if at all.
Ever notice how people refer to God as a He and the earth as She?
Who came up with the idea that God is good anyway? Look around,
and what do you see? Positive or Negative? or both? Do you believe anything man says or writes enough to lay your life , especially men from so long ago that didn't even know the earth was round. I think if people live good they will result with a better karma or ending, I don't think one can kill a person then go tell jesus he's sorry and it's ok just cause the man got saved. I think that's absolute nonsense. karma is karma regardless if you believe or not, doesnt matter if you are an athiest or not ,what happens when we die is going to happen , if it does welll then a believer one will be. but whether one is positive, negative , kind or cruel is what counts. what church one goes to has nothing to do with anything other then how one may live or pretend to live

You can't step a foot through heaven's door if you don't:

1) Believe there's a heaven
2) Believe there's a God who made the place you want to go to
3) Believe in His Son Who made the pathway by dying on Calvary's Cross and raising again from the dead

God doesn't have to make mean faces. All He has to do is blink and the earth could be gone in a nanosecond. But that isn't His purpose. He wants as many people to live with Him in that fantastic place as choose to. Hope you make the right decision!

Revelations suggests that atheists and others will be judged according to their acts (on what is popularly called Judgment Day). The bad ones get chucked into a lake of fire. Presumably the good ones go to Heaven.

All are welcome.
No humans really knows how to get to heaven, only GOD determines this.
Listen to logical statements, be good to people. Never hurt or cheat people. Do the kind of stuff your mother taught you, and you'll be fine. There is no buttering up anyone - lol, your on your own, if you feel guilt - find a way to correct what you've done. Other than that it's all good (do they still say that?)
Hope you enjoy this life.

I'm not sure "nice" is a good word to describe God. Nice is a human term...kinda like politically correct. God is, however, Just, Holy, Righteous, and Loving.

If a person is still an Atheist, then how would that be Just for Him to allow them into heaven, after all the time that they have been allowed to decide, and chose not to love, worship and submit to His authority?

TECHNICALLY, Eagle is right....however, if you sincerely ask, then that means you believe, therefore, you are no longer an atheist, huh?

ALSO...unfortunately, cadadmail is well-meaning, but incorrect. Being as good as we can be is not enough. Yes, we are still supposed to be as good as we can, but we still fall short of God's standard (perfection). We can never be perfect, but through Christ, acting as our "proxy", we are redeemed, forgiven, white as snow in the eyes of God. Satan wants us to believe that being good is enough. He is the father of lies.

The wicked are reserved for the day of judgement. God chooses to save some and not others. God's standard to get into Heaven is perfection, none of us meet that standard apart from accepting His son Jesus. Jesus was perfect and his perfectness is applied to us if we believe in Him. That is only thing that will get us into Heaven is God's grace. Grace means unearned favor or to use G.R.A.C.E. as an acronym-God's Rightousness At Christ's Expense.

God will welcome all that would trust and believe in what the Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross. He died for our sins, He was buried and He took our sins away and He rose again the third day for our justification. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15: 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

God accepts all who are decent no matter what you call or do not call it..it is only bigotted evil people who say otherwise trying to make God fit into THEIR viewpoint as if God should have to cater to the filthy wretches who say just because they have a fancy name like christian or whatever they are the only ones allowed to God.
Those who say God refuses Atheists both hate and despise God for not making the afterlife a special VIP lounge showing how dark their hearts, minds and souls really are...too dark to even pity them

God doesn't get angry with people who are trying to get into heaven. God doesn't get angry that easy. The thing is, is that God wants atheists to come to heaven, he wants everyone to come. They just have to believe in Him, Christ, as their savior, that's all.
