I sympathize with you. When I was your age, I became so ill that I finally had to quit my job. The pain and sleepless nights left me in misery. It took quite a while before I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, a condition which affects ALL the connective tissue in the whole body, causing the flu-like symptom of overall achy-ness and fatigue. At one time or another, almost every part of my body has had pain, from my feet right up to the quick sharp pin-like pain in my eyeballs.
So, I have spent almost ten years trying different things to help ease the symptoms since there isn't any known cure. I have the complications of having allergies to several foods and some drugs. I have to be very careful what I take. However, I do take 1 tablet twice daily of MSM Chondroitin Gluscosamine made distributed by Vitamin Power, a company based in Freeport, NY. I also take 2 extra strength acetaminophen(Tylenol) twice daily and my doctor has prescribed Mobic. For several years I was on Vioxx until it was taken off the market, and then I was on Bextra until it was taken off the market.
My situation has improved over the last ten years, but I still have the condition and I am also developing some Arthritis. I know some people suffer greatly with rheumatoid arthritis.
I would suggest that you ask your doctor about a referral to a Rheumatologist who may be better able to diagnose the cause of your aches and difficulty moving, that is, if you don't already know. My Rheumatologist was the doctor who began prescribing specific pain medication to ease my symptoms. I hope this helps and that you are able to find some relief. God bless you!

Fibromyalgia will surely make you feel older than what you are. Being a sufferer myself, I have not tried the product you have spoken about. However, I have had great success by eating a lot (and I mean alot) of protein. I can't stress enough about how important protein is in one's diet that suffers from this disorder. Another staple in my bag of tricks for mobility is taking milk thistle (readily available nowdays) and a combination of zinc, magnesium and calcium. The milk thistle will assist in cleansing your body of toxins in the liver and kidneys and the ZMC combo will replenish the body's use of those minerals.
It used to take me nearly 3 hours to get up and around in the mornings, you should notice a difference within a short amount of time, I sure did.
Hope this helps,
sbj

Yes, I take it for degenerative arthritis in my hip joints. Have just started the regime but have been told by my doctor and others that I would not notice any significant changes for @ 6 mos. But of those that have been taking it, it has made a significant change in their joints and life style. In the meantime, You will find that if you can stay pretty active and walk and excercise a little that those pains will diminish quite a lot. Good Luck

My Dr recommended Glucosamine with Chrondroiton and MSM about 5 years ago. I took it for 6 months and I didn't see any effect. But, everyone's body is different and it COULD work for you. Good luck. I have spinal arthritis and I know how you feel.

Yes, I've used it for knee pain, I agree that it takes about 4-6 months to notice any difference. Also it wouldn't be a bad idea to ask your doctor about it and your specific condition. Your doc might have warnings against it if your diabetic, or have alergies to shell fish.

best wishes
