For those of you with more than one kid, do you have a favorite? Or do you really love them all equally? Please be honest!

Yes, each one I love. But, each one I love in a different way. Not that they are not important to me. I would never tell them this because they may get their feelings hurt. However, they do mean the world to me.

The funny thing is, while parents may love all their children equally, most treat different children differently.
Like, I know my parents love me as much as the others, but it is clear to all of us which one is favored. Even the favorite knows and agrees that he is the favorite, and my mom has admitted it herself.
I think it is natural to have a favorite.
Edit: I have only one child BTW, so I don't have to choose.

I have three children, ages 13, 6, and 4. Although I always said that I didn't want to be like my mother and treat all the kids differently, I tend to see myself do that. Don't get me wrong I love all my children very much, but I do tend to give my baby a little more attention than the others, and I guess it's because he is my last kid.

Have 2 boys and both have totally different personalities! I love both my boys each in a different kind of way which reflects my relationship with them. My older one is very quiet and does a lot of thinking before acting....very cautious more reserved more responsible. We do a ton of talking about everything. My little one (11) is a good time Charlie, outgoing personality more like me or so everyone tells me! But I wouldn't say I love either one more or less than the other, both are pretty unique!

I have a son and daughter in that order and while I love my kids with equal amounts of love, I love them in different ways. They are both so unique that I can't possibly explain it. But the child I am closest to is my son. He was a sick baby and we spent a lot of time together those first two years just me and him. We bonded a lot deeper than most parents do with their children because he depended on me even more than regular. My daughter is more independent and she does her own thing, she's just like her father but I love her deeply but my son is oh so special because he's my miracle child. He wasn't even supposed to make it but he did and that's how I know he'll go on to achieve great things because he's a fighter. My daughter is too because she makes her presence very known and she's not afraid to speak her mind. But I love them both and would lay down my life or even take one for both of them.

I truly love each of my 3 children equally... I have 2 boys and a girl and I could never choose among them if I had to.

Now that my kids are adults, I find that I am closer to one more than the others. I treated them equally but I was aware that at times I genuinely like one more than the other.

I love all my kids the same and that is being honest. You do NOT choose favorites with your kids.

I love them both to death, I'd kill for both and I'd die for both but.... I do have a favorite, my first born - he's been thru it all with me, and even when I wasnt the best parent or didnt have much to offer he still looked at me like the best thing on earth. My youngest has gotten the best of everything from the very start and she is so spoiled!
