I have a problem. I just got a dog and she is two years old. The problem is, she bites and pees everywhere. We could take her for long walks and she's used the restroom and then come inside and just pee all over. She doesn't have a problem with her bladder, we got that checked. But we can't stop it. She is currently in a crate, but that isn't working either. We scold her so often, praise her when she's done well....nothing works.

Also, she chews on everything. We have lost shoes, her dog bed, papers...everything. I can't get her to stop at all. I really need help. Because if I don't get it, I have to get rid of her and I don't want to do that.

Consult a professional. The dog either has some baggage or has just established very bad habits.

Dogs act out thier frustrations in many ways. Chewing is a trait of lonliness. Is the dog left in the crate for long periods of time alone? does the dog feel as though it is one of the "pack"? There are many books on training your dog. One good book is "Dogs for Dummies". It is a very good reference book for beginners and also the "brush up on the basics" for the more advanced owners. It is written by Bina Spadafori and will cost around 20 dollars. I suggest you hit the books and pay attention to the surroundings of the dog and how the interaction is. I have 2 dogs and a cat. My cat was urinating everywhere when I moved, that was due to her change in environment. Feed the dog right, learn all there is to know. Dogs are only as smart as the owner.

Ok i have an idea it worked on my dog. I would grab him not harshly but grab him, drag him over to where he pooed or peed and smack his nose or top of his head and say in an harsh voice NO! Then stick him outside for about 10 minutes. It showes him where he has to pee and that hes not allowed to pee in the house. Oh and by the way, your dog thinks that the house is his territory, you need to keep him off the couches, beds, etc. I know it sounds harsh but you need to dicipline your dog before he takes over.My dog is perfectly house broken and he loves to be with me, and he never went to obiedience school. But do pet him after you scolded him, you gotta show you still love him.Good Luck
