At the final judgement everyone gets in who can answer one question. When we are asked if we love God with all our hearts, the scorners will have judged themselves.

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. The body still dies because of sin. Paul is writing to Christians that have went back under the law and are trying to keep their salvation by works. There were law keeping Jews preach a gospel that was not of grace. Paul wanted to know how come they are so soon removed from the grace of God that He had preached to them. Galatians 4: 9 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

This scriptures means that you should not fool yourself or dont let anyone fool you. As another scripture says God is no respector of persons. So dont try and think you can fool God. For if you sow/do evil, evil you shall reap, but if you sow/do good, good you shall reap.God knows all our motives and intentions so dont even think that you can play a trick on God. As another scripture says God shall pay everyman accordingto his deeds. So therefore let us do good so that we will reap good and let us not do evil so we wont have to reap evil.God Bless.

I don't know your beliefs, but I'm a Christian. To me, Galatians 6:7 refers to a couple different truths about God. But first, Paul's epistle to Galatia is chock-ful of pointers on their walk with God, so there is a mix of many short phrases. But just like in his longer letters, Paul strives for continuity...

(I use KJV most of the time) "Be not deceived; God is not mocked" means, to me, "Hey, don't kid yourself, brother! God's in charge!" And then "for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap," means that God makes certain that people get what they deserve -- rewards for good deeds and punishment for bad.

It means don't be mistaken by believing you or others may mock the Lord for you cannot. Whatever sins in life you do you will sow the outcome, in one way or another. God punishes those who sin, this is how we learn from our Heavenly Father. Punishment may come in many forms but it will come. We know not when or how but it comes if he sees fit to. Never under estimate the power of God. No one, no one can match his powers.

Oops you messed up my "B" in my memorization...haha

"B": KJV
BE not deceived, (do not be led astray)
God is not mocked, (no making fun of Him, you can't fool Him)
for whatever a man soweth, (however you live and treat Him)
that shall he also reap. (payday comes, usually back to haunt you)

It's the LAW...just like law of gravity.....IF you fall from a building........you die...
If you do not respect the Living G-d you will go to Hell.
Whatever you do, do all to the Glory of G-d for you are going to have to face it someday.

To me it means: those who mock God will deeply regret it. I think some people call God on by mocking and become deceived by the fact they nothing ever happens to them. they go on mocking him more and more. God won't force anyone to be in his presence and God is not on our time.

Look at the next passage. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

You have to repent from sin, and accept Christ as your Savior, to go to Heaven.

To me, coming from a Buddhist perspective, it's about Karma. You reap what you sow ... because good begets good, and bad comes back to bite you in the ***. :)

I would say this is the verse that should be written above the Yahoo Answers Religion section.
