Take your cat to a vet, please. Cats don't have a strong immune system and when one gets skinny and weak, it is hard to bring them back.

You should take him to the vet to solve the problem. That way you have more time to be with him if it is not that serious. It is better then let him suffer. I had own a cat one time and it started to lose weight and she had a good in take of food. I took her to the vet and She had Cancer. Here is a not so serious case I had to take care of a older person cat when he was away. The Cat grief over missing him and lose interested in eating and was losing weight. When he Came back the cat return to normal.
So, I would take him to a vet and see what is happening. Sorry if this had made you worry more.....

The vet tech was right. Get that cat to a 24 hour emergency veterinary clinic NOW! You can probably find one if you Google on the phrase "emergency veterinary hospital" and the name of some cities or larger towns near you.
If he needs to be on IV, plan to visit him at least once a day for a couple of hours. He will lose muscle mass, so ask them if he can move around in his cage. Bring a warm soft old towel with you and a favorite toy.

I had this problem after I took my cat to the vet for a tooth cleaning. The anestesia messed her up somehow and she wouldn't eat. She was hungry but couldnt' do it. She'd look at the bowl then look at me and meow.
I took small bits of wet cat food and put it in her mouth. She's choke it down. Once a day I fed her. After a while, she started eating on her own.

Call a 24-hr. vet hospital immediately and talk to them! Get an appt. for your cat to be seen and have some tests -- it could be many things: worms, illness, feline leukemia, perhaps it drank somthing poisonous, many things.... tell the vet up-front what you are willing to spend so they can work with you. Most vets really love animals and will work with you on the pay structure to see an animal get the treatment it needs.
Take this seriously, 2 weeks and skin and bones is bad. Sounds as if kitty needs some I.V. fluids too!

My cat had the same problem. Then I took her to the vet and they suggested some medicine and when we returned she got all ok, without even taking the med. I guess she was just pretending or she got scared of the vet and started acting normal so that I dont take her to the vet anymore. :))

Sounds like hes diabetic. my 11 year old cat started losing weight like that and became very emaciated. your cat could also be having kidney failure. a vet would have to run some tests to knwo for sure. FYI having a diabetic cat can be very costly. its about $1000 for inital hospistalization and mointering, and then the cat will need daily medication.

It actual relies upon the position you're from. some states contained in the U. S. dont enable you to shop sport fish as pets. yet because you've minnows, they're technically bait fish, so it will be all wonderful and dandy. in the adventure that they are honestly ingesting the goldfish nutrients, you need to be sturdy. properly, honestly, you've a toddler fish of a few form. in case you may id them, that could be more desirable proper. shop in ideas, maximum sport fish are unlawful to shop. and that i trust maximum places honestly restrict you from holding fish discovered contained in the wild in any case... yet... verify your community rules for the united kingdom. im no longer particular how that's there.
