Cause i just got my spacers taken out and they put the expander known as the appliance well it hurts and i can eat and i dont know what to how do they take them off. I getting spacers on the top of me teeth too and the same appliance up there to please someone help me if you know something about these stuff please. Thanks for everything!!!

I had the expander also and they just kinda eased it off from what I remember. Having them taken off just feels uncomfortable, not painful. You just feel some pressure. Give it a bit of time, the pain does go away and it does get easier to eat. After a while I forgot mine was even there. Good luck and it will pay off in the end.

Hi, when the expander is removed they simply tap the bands that are cemented to your back teeth off with an instrument and it slides right off. Don't be afraid, it goes very fast and doesn't hurt at all.
