It's good you're parents are over protective...it only means that they care about your well being. I'm 25, engaged, have been living on my own since I was 18 and my mom still looks out for me. You might not appreciate it now but in the long run, you'll understand why they do what they do.

I think it'd be best if you maybe open up a conversation with your parents about you having a boyfriend or dating. It wouldn't be good to hide things like this...especially still being young and still have plenty of time to get out into the dating world. Hiding things from them now will only have you lose their trust and burn your bridges later on down the road...then you won't be dating at all! Just kidding.

Talk to them, try to understand why they don't want you to start dating yet or to have boyfriends. Tell your boyfriend(s) to cool off their jets. Boys your age are just walking, talking, ticking time bombs of hormones...trust me on this, I may know a lil' somthin'. Don't let me discourage you though. Young love is golden but remember that there'll be a lot of heartache before you find true love.

If you can't find a way to ease your parents into the discussion and you do decide to have him over, introduce him as a friend with a few other friends at first. I think it's best that parents become familiar with their son's or daughter's interests' first. If anything, don't force the issue and try to respect thier reasoning.

Your 15 and growing up faster than you may have been expected too. Your family looks after your interests, but they also look after your well being if you make bad decisions as a result of your boy friend...the young love stuff.
There is nothing wrong with your parents meeting your boy friend as long as you draw a line on your relationship and don;t get carried away where your talking marriage and crap.
Enjoy your young years, but limit yourself to not go beyond, because that young love can carry a hefty punishment down the road for a poor decision.

I think you should tell them how your parents are. It must really suck having over protective parents but if your bf really cares about you then he should'nt care so much about how they act. Just tell them how they are and then instead of going to your house go to his house.

As a father, if you are hiding a boyfreind there is a reason why!
Obviously, they feel your time would be better spent furthering your education right now instead of worrying about a bf.

Yeah, you should tell them if it comes down to that.
If the guy your seeing at the time is anything like me,...he might just show up one day to surprise you,....that wouldn't be good in your situation.
