I met my wife on the net. Im an aussie and she is american. I have now lived in america for years with her. The only hassle was immigration. But yes its easy to fall inlove with someone online

I had a friend who met someone on the net and they set up a meeting for coffee in a public place so they could meet face to face. She was so fired up, thought she may have finally met her perfect match.
Shall we say that he horribly misrepresented himself? I think that would be putting it very, very generously.

You have to be careful. I met a guy online and had a relationship with him for almost 2 years, found out he was cheating, left him. Then met someone else online and I'm happy with him, He is the sweetest man, caring, loving and funny, sensitive. He is awesome. Just be careful.

I know of a couple who met on the 'net, dated, and now are happily married. They were previously divorced from their spouses, and each went on the Internet after their divorces, not particularly looking for someone else, but it did happen.

I think you can, but it isnt exactly true love. Because a way people act on the net could be different than they do in life.

I have met plenty of people offline years ago. I met someone 4 years ago married him last year.. And divorced him within 2 months. he cheated, he beat me and he is in the military. i've moved on and met another dude offline cause i do'nt know i can.. and i've been with him for the past 9 months and he is awesome sweet funny. doesn't beat me or nothing..

yes,,, few of my friends meet their spouse online, now happily married with kids. we even went out together for gatherings once in a blue moon
