each time you have an allergic reaction it can be a little bit worse than the first time. The only way I would do that is to let a pretty big amount of time go by, then try a very small piece and see what happens. Depending on your age, you may or may not outgrow this. Also, once you have a shellfish allergy you might also have a reaction to any medical tests or scans that use contrast medium (it often contains iodine in the contrast), so please be careful to tell your doctors about this new allergy.

You should be careful with that and perhaps talk to a doctor. I know my mom had an allergic reaction to lobster once and had a miscarriage, but after that she is still able to eat it. Just see a doctor and they can test you for sure, it is dangerous thing.

No...you can't just make yourself be "un-allergic" to anything. But you should be careful if you ever have any kind of health problems that require them to inject you with dye as well. People who are allergic to shellfish tend to be allergic to certain dyes they inject you with for scans and mri's. My mom quit breathing when they injected her with it...

You could talk to an allergist about allergy shots. The trouble with the shots is that you need about a gajillion of them for them to work, and the allergist might not want to do it for severe food allergies. Couldn't hurt to ask, though.

No. And you shouldn't try! Your body can not handle it! my dad is allergic to onions, and it just happened suddenly, and its been that way for many years now. but if he happens to accidently eat something with onions it doesnt go well. so i wouldn't suggest you take that road! good luck! and God Bless!!

generally that's not a good idea
iodine allergies (the main cause of shellfish allergies) are often very serious, and aren't worth testing the waters on

no. unfortunately you gotta avoid it and other shellfish forever because being exposed to it could cause you to stop breathing if it's a true anaphylactic reaction.
