I just don't understand guys!!! Why do they hit on you and then when you start talking for a while they suddenly don't know how to dial a phone? It's not like I am putting on a show and trying really hard, I'm just talking to them in a friendly way but they all seem to think it is a good idea to piss the girl off and disappear. What is going on?

Valley R is right. Most likely your true self is rather boring to a guy. That's ok, guys mostly find women boring to talk to. In general, men don't like to talk much. 90% of cell phones are sold to women.
You obviously can hook a guy, but if you want to land him, talk less.

Just because a guy talks to a girl doesn't mean he's hitting on her. Maybe it's all in the way you perceive it. If he doesn't call you, then it most likely means that he wasn't interested in you in that way.

Sounds like you are making things up in your mind. Either he did not hit on you ... or he is not ignoring you.
Guys don't over think these things like girls do. I will guarantee you that he has never in his mind said "Now I'm gonna ignore her."
