like I know there is a feeling of guilt how do you identify if someone is manipulating you?

Actually, manipulation is an art. For instance, when someone wants you to do something for them and make you believe your doing it because you want to and believe it was your idea when in fact it was the other persons intent to get you to do what THEY want you to do. A child will want something and if you say no, they start to cry. That's simple manipulation. When someone says to you, "No, don't bother helping me, i'll do it by meself, as always" That's manipulation.

Do you not want to do something but someone else is trying to talk you into it? That's manipulation.

ask questions..if you know that you are not getting a straight answer, you are being manipulated.
ask questions and bring a witness, if you are being manipulated and you have some one with you to witness the manipulators tactics...the manipulator will hopefully be embarassed that the person you brought it seeing how lame they are

If you feel in any given situation that you are powerless, then you are being manipulated.

If someone is doing something to you that you do not approve of, then they are manipulating you. .. Dont do anything that you are not willing to do.
