homeschool books usually have examples of how to work the problems, answers in the back to certain problems, teacher manuals and solution manuals. They are written to teach at home and for self learning.
Yours doesn't have that?

That problem needs help! Who uses cubed roots in real everyday life? I suspect that it is the cubed root part that is throwing you off track.
A cubed root is similar to a square root, but one more factor. For example, the cubed root of 27 =3 , The cubed root of 8 =2. The cubed root of 64 is 4.

The cubed root of 32 or 108 would not be whole numbers.
However, if you read the problem another way Cubed root of 32 minus 5 would be cubed root of 27 which would be 3.
If you have a scientific calculator, use the instructions to figure out how to do square roots. Hope this gives you a start in the right direction.

When you are cubing a number it is just like squaring except with three numbers.
i.e. 2*2=4 (This is squared)
2*2*2=8 (This is cubed)
First you need to figure out all the separate cubed roots
cubed root of 108 = 4.76
cubed root of 4+2 = 1.8
cubed root of 32-5 = 3

So now you have 3^1.8^4.76
You are going to have to use a scientific calculator for this. If you have Windows there is one under the start menu>Programs>accessories>Calculator Click on view then click on Scientific. It will have a button that looks like "x^y" (three over three down) x=the number that you insert; the ^ means to the power of; y=the number that you will insert
So type in 3 x^y 1.8 enter then push x^y 4.76 You will have to simplify a bit, but basically your question = 12245.45.

8-5=3+1+2+27=33
I'm probably wrong though

the cubed root is like there's 4 8's in 32
4 27's in 108

u need to rewrite ur q.
cube root is something like this
2x2x2 = 2
3x3x3 = 3
and 32 and 4+2=6 and 108 would not result into whole no.
