nah. I know my future eternity. That's all I need to know.
If you knew the future, that would be like watching the same movie, over and over everyday.

I think it depends on what my future holds! If it was good, I'd want to know, so I could have peace of mind now about it. But if it was bad, I'd rather not know! Of course, there is no way to know whether it is good or bad unless I already knew what it was.
This reminds me of a very important point though. Even if we knew the events of our future, how are we to know if that is "good" or "bad"? We have a tendency to put these labels on events. But the events themselves are neutral. Everything that happens is for a reason, I believe, and is ultimately good. We may not like it all, but it is good for some reason. Therefore, if you believe as I do that all is ultimately for a good purpose, then we can say for sure that whatever happens is going to be good. With that in mind, we should be at peace with our future, even though we cannot know the specifics.
Thanks for the question, because it reminded me of this important point!

As much as I would like to know sometimes, I know I'm better off not knowing. If I knew how my life would have turned out, I might would have avoided some pain, but if I avoided the pain, I would have missed out on a lot of really good things that came out of it. I just trust that God knows what is best for me and let His Will be done in my life.

my experience with seers is this;
they wish they couldn't. mainly to get people to quit asking them stuff. but also because they see stuff they'd rather not see, even knowing that most of what they see won't happen.
the future is not set, it's always changing depending on individual choices. some paths don't change no matter the choices. but most do.
for the seer, it can be helpful in making choices. however sometimes it's best to learn to make choices without having an insider view. it's easy to mark an answer on the test if you have the answers written in the palm of your hand. but are you really being tested? are you really learning anything?
"to know the future is to be trapped by it...but knowing there's a trap is the first step in evading it." sometimes seeing the future is the trap.

I like to know the future, perhaps I can be of help in many many ways, to save the world.... it would be a gift from God
There was many time to where I had some dreams come true, lol if I only listen, or truly under stood them. sometime I know ahead a time when something bad is about to happen, sometimes it pays off and I was ready for it, I wounder if that was god hinting to be ready, either to save me, or get me really for the next lesson..... God can be tough sometimes, but in the end of his lessons you learn a lot, the best teachers are tough sometimes. sometimes God has to be.

Wow. I have often thought of this. I wouldn't want to know, because if it was something bad, that would only make me worry, and if it was something good, I'd rather be surprised. I really feel life is meant to be lived as it is, and we're not meant to know the future. I really feel that God wants us not to know the future, because he has his own plan for us, and if we knew the plan ahead of time, we might be tempted to alter it. God has his reasons for not letting us know.

I believe that the things which God knows that are important for us to know, He will make certain that we have a knowledge of them. But I also believe that there are certain things which God knows that it is best that we do not know; at least not at this time. We do not have the mental comprehension to know everything about the future. So many things God reveals unto us only a little bit at a time. I believe that the things which God desires for us to know at this point in our life, are revealed to us in his Holy Word. And if we did know every thing about the future, I believe that much of it would probably scare the life out of us; for our lack of understanding. Jesus told me one time, to just live my life one day at a time. For He knows what lies ahead for every one of us.

I don't want to know the future. If something good is coming, I'll be too anxious about it, and I won't enjoy the present. If something bad is coming, I'll be depressed in advance, and again, I won't be doing anything as a result.

i use rune cards, runestones, and runesticks to gain a slight insight into the future...
i do not look to tell prophisies jsut to figure out is my day is destined to be good or bad...in the event os some really bad readings i have decided to stay home from work,
and later found out that there was a very bad accident on the road at the aproximate time that i would have been there, or someone got hurt at work or something was stolen and they are investigating the entire department...except me bacause i was not there...

well i guess knowing in advance what was going to happen might come in handy, i think that the lack of surprises would make this a pretty boring world.
you would really never learn to deal with adversity and there would be no challenges to strengthen our character.
yup... give me the surprises any day.
