im getting one tomorrow on my lower leg... could someone please tell me whether or not thats a very sensitive area or not??

I am not going to lie they do hurt but it is more of a burny feeling. like someone scraping you with a fork not really hard. But it also depends where you get it the less fat the more pain. I got mine in the same place and it doesn't hurt that bad

It feels like you're being stung by a bee a few hundred times, without the throbbing afterward. Like someone else said, it's kind of a burning sensation.
If you are getting a lot of black, they might use a bigger needle to get it down deeper into the skin. That also doesn't make the pain better. If you're a wuss, rub some ora-gel on there to numb it a little before you go get it.

It probably is a sensitive area. I only have one and it is between my shoulder blades, kind of at the top. It hurt real bad on the outline, but after that the coloring in wasn't that bad.

Oh, it's going to hurt like a booger! It will feel like they are shooting that needle right into the bone. Keep in mind, you need to put it where you can easily cover it up if you are going to some dressy type of thing.

Not that bad. Almost gets numb after awhile. Stay away from the ankle bone,no meat there and that hurts.

no,since it is a failry fleshy area.youll have to be more precise onwhere your getting it? it if is your calf,it will be fine,there wil be some pain of course,but not much. i have one on my shoulder,right where the bone is close to the skin.that hurts like hell,it digs into the bone,im sure u can imagine what it feels like.youll be fine but,not to worry

Yes it hurt dumba ss your getting a needle jambed into your leg thousands of times.So Yes it hurts.Big Dummy

well, yea, it hurts. After a few minutes you become more tolerant of the pain. I have several tats. It's really not a big deal.

i've got tattoos on both my lower legs/ankles and yes, they hurt....but so much worth it afterward....just do some steady deep breathing, and don't watch. good luck!!

The further from bone, whether its fat or muscle, the less it hurts. I have one on hand that hurt alot... skinny.. my arm.. not so much... muscley.
