According to Webster's Dictionary:
atheism is the belief that there is no God.
belief and faith mean the same thing
SO - an atheist has faith that there is no God.
Unfortunately for them believing or not believing doesn't change the fact that there is a God in heaven who gave His only begotten son to pay the price with His blood on the cross for our sins.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

And certainly there are atheists, nihilists, who have FAITH in nothing. They believe that there is no truth to be found in religion, no meaning or purpose in existence. Others might agree with those mystics who argue that god does not "exist" because god by definition is beyond being. These atheists have FAITH that there are some things beyond what a mind can comprehend. They have FAITH in mystery. Many argue that since the advent of science, all that was mysterious to our forbearers can now be explain logically, and god is no longer a necessary construct. These atheists have FAITH in science and reason. Other atheists, such as Kenneth Patton who wrote our meditation, look with awe at the beauty of nature, the wonder of the human neural system, the tides, the movement of stars, a beautiful machine evolving for its own survival, they have FAITH in the natural forces beyond control of a single human.
Some have FAITH in the self and in humankind. These atheists cast their lot with the Humanists. Though one does not have to be an atheist to be a humanist, the two are often linked. In the first third of the 20th century as Humanism entered our denomination, the Unitarian movement began to center around the existence, rather than the nature of God. The Humanist Manifesto of 1933 describes "the universe as 'self-existing and not created'…Religion, in other words, is human life, and 'the end of man's life.' for the Humanist, is 'the complete realization of the human personality.'" [Robinson p. 147] This re-understanding of the purpose of religion and the importance of human life, while not unique to our movement, became a driving theological force in our denomination. In fact, the three most prominent Unitarian humanists had been forced to leave other more conservative denominations, and brought their ideas to the Unitarians, who were willing to give space to what they had to say.

I don't think one can have faith in nothing. If you are a true atheist, you believe there is no God. There is no dogma or religion involved. It's like choosing not to believe in Santa Claus.
Dictionary definition: "A firm belief in something for which there is no proof". (note the word something) If you say, nothing is something, it becomes a circular argument and a waste of time.

No, you are completely wrong.
Faith is when you believe something to be true when there is no evidence for it, or even when there is evidence against it.
Atheists simply just lack faith. Atheism is not just another kind of religion or a different denomination. It is just a philosophical point of view, which states that religious faith is irrational.

Atheists BELIEVE there is no God, therefore Atheism is a religion. They have their own philosophy, their own apologetics, their own popes (university professors) and in some cases, have re-written history just like some other religions.
The god they claim is not there is not the God of the Gospel. They have re-invented a notion of God, and reject it by reason.
Bible-alone theology, or sola scriptura, cannot withstand atheistic principles because that approach to the bible is man-made, unbiblical, unworkable, and not found in Christianity for 1500 years. Atheism uses the same interpretation methods as most of Protestantism, which is erroneous.

I'm sorry but what could you have to gain by insisting atheism is a religion?
Is it that you just like to antagonize atheists? Do you get some kind of glee out of claiming atheism is a religion?
Is the disbelief in leprachauns a religion? How about unicorns?
A lack of belief in anything can not constitute religion.

Faith - 'complete trust or confidence'. Yes in humanity.
Religion - 'particular system of faith and worship'. Incorrect, we do not worship anything.
Therefore we have faith in something but that does not classify us as having a religion.

They do have faith, but atheism is not a religion. LaVey Satanism and most Buddhist people are atheists so those would be atheist religions.

I am agnostic and the only faith that I have is in my self. Is that considered a religion too, I certainly don't pray to myself and I am pretty sure Atheist don't pray to a non-God. Although some times I talk to my self when I am about to do something hard and say, come on Sean you can do it. Is that praying to myself?

Perhaps you shoud look up the definition of faith? Atheism does not require faith, faith requires you beleive in something without evidence. Atheism doesn't see any evidence of a supreme being so it is simply accepting observable phenomenum.
