Those who believe in suicide bombings think that they will receive a great reward in Heaven. So why don't the leaders do it too? The only ones I've seen on television who even tried to kill others with a bomb were those who were caught already. Have I missed some important part of this religion? Do the leaders of those who have sacrificed themselves get a greater reward?

No the fanatics have missed an important part of there own religion. Thou shall not Kill. The fanatics do not represent Islam. Just as Jim Jones or David Kore sh do not represent Christianity. The problem is not religious the problem is economic. To defeat the soviets the USA placed evil men in power. The soviets were a larger evil in our eyes. The results of the cold war is the situation in the middle east we have now. Puppet governments on both sides without regard for the people has created a situation where people feel they have nothing else to lose.
WE can choose to ignore the cause and let it happen again or we can take responsibility for what we did do what we did to set the bombs in motion so that we don't do it again. That does not mean they are correct. But if we create a environment that's dark damp and wet we will make scum. That's what we did. The cold war created this war.
ww1 led to ww2 led to the cold war or ww3 this is ww4 everyone of them was economic

The problem is that the leaders are smarter then their followers, they know it is a total sucker play. If I was running things we could dry up their source for suckers....just put a strip of bacon in the mouth of every terrorist, that way the will be blocked from getting into Paradise.

It's the same pattern followed here in the US.

The Congress and them voted to send our guys into war, but none of their kids have signed up to go over there.

I say put your money where your mouth is.

I suspect they aren't all that anxious to even face a Muslim Judgement. The followers can always claim they were duped.
