My 5 month old, twin boy nephews are going to be here this weekend from TN. This is the first time I will see them in person. I thought it would be nice to get them a gift. Any Ideas??

First, you should probably get their mother something for having to raise TWINS!! Clothes are always a good gift at that age. I am a huge fan of books...they may not read them at that age (obviously) but they are something to appreciate a few years later. Also...LEAP FROG has great educational toys for kids of all ages. I LOVE them. Or make it more sentimental since they aren't really playing that much anyway. At this point they won't appreciate anything you give them...but their parents will!! I would go with getting the parent a gift!!! Maybe watch them one night and let their parents go out alone. That way you can spend time with them and give their parents a break? Good luck!!

get one of those baby gyms that sits on the floor. They can both play with it plus they can interact together. They are probably not sitting up yet, so they need things that they can lay on their backs and play with their hands. Have fun, twins are so special!

First off make Mom a diaper cake. Then maybe give them their own blankets that they may cherish forever. If not the blanket idea, Sorting blocks are good. that's something they can grow with.

Get them some cute matching jeans and shirts. Or, "T" shirts and paint a cute pattern and their names on them. I painted a "T" for my nephew with glow in the dark paint.

I always liked gift certificates from Target, Walmart, etc., when my kids were babies. I could get what I really needed.
