Personally, I think God has about much say as the man in the moon when it comes to finding love.

It's not quite that bad. But I strongly believe that rather than ask GOD to send you someone, you should ask for the wisdom to recognize what is truly good in people, the grace to accept imperfection (no one is perfect), the courage to connect (love can be risky), and the heart to give (that's the very foundation of love!)

Probably but then on Sunday the preacher makes 'em feel all guilty again, like threatening storm clouds. But perhaps there's a whole sky above the clouds we haven't yet learned to see on our own . . .

There is nothing wrong with asking God that. Just be prepared for what he sens you. It may be the most unexpected thing.

No! I also ask god to grant me the strength to not beat someone's *** on almost a daily basis ( sometimes he helps, sometimes he doesn't!). Is that wrong too?!

These people are also the ones that fall for scams.
