Well, according to your neighbors, if *you* were the one in the nude, the Lord's Name is not the only thing that she'd be justified in taking. Does the name John Bobbitt ring a bell?

Oh, and the neighbors would also like to ask you to do something about the window treatments in your home. It seems the transparent shower curtain with the picture of the Last Supper that you're using as bedroom drapes leaves something to be desired.

That's a far different perspective to follow than what Jesus had taught--to have patience, long-suffering, and understanding. Adverse behavior isn't the way to convince your wife that she's breaking a commandment of God.

Simply tell her that it greatly offends you and blasphemes God and you'd like her to stop it. Show her the Ten Commandments from the Bible, but do it gently. There is no need for dramatic outbursts that will only denigrate the situation.

You abuse your wife mentally but you ask the question about christian behavior. It is your wife that will need to improve on her faith with God so that she will know the seriousness of calling God's name in vain. But it is your place to learn self control, this is one of the fruits of the spirit. Don't expect her to show respect to God if you are claiming to be Christ like and you are acting the way you do. Remember Jesus' statement, "you hypocrite, remove the mote out of your own eye before trying to remove it from someone else." I'm sure if you ask God, there are lots of things you are doing that makes him really mad but he doesn't strike you dead; just something to think about.

Are you for real? Your anger is more likely to lead to sin than her "taking the Lord's name in vain" And IF she did that is between her and God, Not Her and you.
I think there is more wrong with you. Your to be a leader, not a taskmaster! Love your wife as Jesus loves the Church.
You, follow Christ! Then, perhaps she will be more inclined to follow you rather than rebel against you.

Jesus wants you to beat your wife, that way you can go to jail and become truly truly religious.

Just make sure she hasn't applied for a concealed weapons permit before you commence to beating her whilst in the buff.

I'll bet you'll meet other nice religious fellows in jail and you can pray with them and you can tell each other stories of when you were having nude conversations with members of the opposite sex.

I have the feeling that YOU could make the POPE take the Lord's name in vain.

To answer your question- No that's NOT christian behavior.

You might want to work on YOUR bad attitude before you try to work on your wife's.

Confront your wife in the nude and make her beg for mercy...what a gentleman.

Some advice for you, don't drink any kool-aid your wife tries to give to you.

This is not proper behavior for anyone. It is abuse. You have no right to control what she says and does. You only have the right to accept her for who she is or leave her. She has the right to whatever attitude she wants to have. If your a christian, shouldn't you be praying for her rather than abusing her?
